Senior Getaway is a 24 hour experience specifically for those 60+ who are looking for community and a deeper connection with God.
Designed by seniors for seniors. World-class teaching and a chance to connect with a vibrant community of folks asking: “God, what’s the next adventure you want to take me on?” (By the way, we’re going to sleep in beds, not tents.)
It will be held at Higher Ground, a retreat and conference center located in West Harrison, Indiana, that offers a Lodge in a serene location. The lodging options include 48 Lodge rooms with either two double or two queen-size beds with an ensuite bath. It is encouraged to share a room, as space is limited.
It can be uncomfortable to spend the night in a new place, but we know in an immersive experience you grow in big ways. Step out boldly to understand "Our Best is Yet to Come" and receive what God has for you—we see you and we are cheering you on.

What is a Getaway?
A Getaway is an event, but slightly different from a Crossroads Camp (although in the same family). It is an event that is planned for overnight, as well as day participation. It is meant to build community, provide opportunities to grow in relationship with God while engaging in solitude, teaching, worship and prayer. It is an adventure but with a little less physical challenge and a bed with a private bathroom.
