OVERVIEW
India is a vibrant country of 1.6 billion people, filled with history, beauty and culture. But, there’s also a harsh side of India. Human trafficking continues to thrive here, and some reports estimate that more than 60% of those affected by modern slavery live in Southeast Asia.
IMPACT
God has called us to support those who care for young women & children who have been sexually trafficked or are at risk of being trafficked. We have faithfully responded to this call for over 13 years, actively partnering on both prevention and aftercare.
STORY
Each trip to India has its own purpose, but every experience will take you deep into the heart of others and give you the chance to be part of God’s movement toward radical freedom—and this freedom awaits you, too.
You’ll be immersed in a culture that awakens all your senses and gives you a powerful, concrete understanding of the justice work happening every day to fight human trafficking and the exploitation of women and children. Due to partner requirements, all participants will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
We will also be following all guidelines and requirements from the CDC, local authorities in India, and any rules of vendors, venues and partners. If the guidelines change prior to the trip we will adjust the expectations.
Due to the current climate and rapidly changing landscape involving COVID-19, our international partners have communicated that in order to create the safest environment for everyone involved, especially the children and families whom they serve, all trip participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
All trip deposits and total costs are non-refundable and must be paid via credit card or ACH. Cash, checks and money orders are not accepted.

You will stay in a western style hotel while in Mumbai. For 4 nights, you will be at a camp that has indoor lodging. Women and men will be separated into cabins that will have 4-6 people per cabin. Each cabin will have at least one indoor bathroom. Clean drinking water will be provided.
What precautions will be taken for COVID?
- Due to partner requirements, all participants will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Require a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before departure.
- Follow CDC guidelines which currently advise wearing masks on the buses. If the CDC guidelines change prior to the trip we will adjust the expectations.
- Follow all requirements of state and local authorities in India, as well as the rules of any vendors, venues, or partners that we visit or serve.
If you do contract COVID during the trip, you will need to quarantine. We do have insurance that will make any extra hotel, lodging, and medical expenses reimbursable to you up to certain limits.
How much does it cost?
The trip cost is $4,100. This covers your flight, hotel, meals, on-the-ground transportation, work supplies, travel insurance, and activities. Stuff not covered are things like souvenirs, snacks at the airport, a visa, passport fees (if you need a new one this can run around $100), covid tests, and vaccinations or medicine (if you decide to get them they can be between $100-$300).
