By registering for an account on Crossroads.net you are agreeing to these terms of service and acknowledging that you are over 13 years of age.
Welcome to crossroads.net. The vision of this website is to serve as an online extension of the Crossroads community. Its purpose is to facilitate conversations and to connect community members to one another, while also connecting the world to Jesus and what he can mean for our lives.
By registering for or otherwise using this website (a.k.a. “the site”), you agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any other terms or conditions listed elsewhere on the site. These terms are not exhaustive and we reserve the right to modify them at any time, effective upon posting the new term. If you access the site after new terms are posted, you are thereby agreeing to the new terms of service.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the site at any time if you do not abide by these terms, or if you interfere with the ability of others to use the site as intended or otherwise infringe on the rights of other users. We also reserve the right to delete inactive accounts.
Managing your Username, Password and Profile
Parts of crossroads.net require a username and password, which you will create upon registering with the site. We reserve the right to reject or terminate any username that we determine is offensive or inappropriate. You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential, and you are also responsible for any activity that occurs under your username and password, even if someone else was using it. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or other security breach. It is your responsibility to log off your account when you are finished visiting our site. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information. For more information, read our Privacy Policy.
Opt-in & Opt-out Communication
By registering an account in crossroads.net, you will automatically be opting-in to All Church and Kids’ Club communication and will begin receiving email communications. If you do not wish to receive this communication from Crossroads, you can opt-out at any time by managing your preferences on your profile under “Communications.”
Interacting with the Crossroads Community
As you interact with the Crossroads community, we ask that you honor Crossroads’ vision for the site through your posts. Also, please remember that by publishing anything to crossroads.net, you are granting Crossroads permission to re-publish that content if we choose.
Crossroads is only responsible for the content generated by staff members. We cannot edit or ensure the accuracy of other users’ contributions, especially since we have no official, legal relationship with them.
So, enjoy the site, but remember to use common sense. If it sounds too good to be true, it is (except for the parts about God’s mercy and grace, of course). Crossroads cannot guarantee the accuracy or veracity of any information in our Crossroads community unless it is posted by a staff member. We also cannot guarantee that content appearing in the Crossroads community does not infringe upon any copyrights.
To participate online with the Crossroads community, please follow basic web etiquette. Here are the rules you agree to follow (but again, use common sense, people):
Enforcing the Rules of User-Generated Content
Crossroads does not pre-screen or verify the content posted by users in any section of the site, and we are not liable for content generated by others. However, Crossroads’ staff does reserve the right to review user-generated content and modify/delete the content as it sees fit. We’re not trying to be Big Brother, we’re just maintaining the intention for the site. If a user continues to post content that violates the terms, we will restrict/terminate that user’s access to the site.
